A single-point LiDAR equipped with an AR projection/visible light indicator module integrates intelligent sensing devices and can be installed in the trunk. The LiDAR spot overlaps with the AR projection cursor/visible indicator cursor. The LiDAR determines whether the user steps on the cursor by analyzing changes in distance and other characteristic values. Working with the vehicle system, it achieves AR projection, step detection, and tailgate opening/closing functions, enabling automatic opening and closing of the car tailgate without physical contact.
Core Highlights
1. Easier to Trigger than Capacitive Sensors
The AR light-sensing rear tailgate equipped with single-point LiDAR has sensitive detection response, with a one-time opening success rate exceeding 99%. When the user triggers the AR projection at the rear of the vehicle and steps on the cursor, the system automatically perceives and responds quickly. Compared to traditional "kick-to-open" sensor tailgate technology, it significantly reduces sensing failures, avoiding the embarrassment of repeated unsuccessful attempts to open the tailgate.
2. Low False Trigger Rate
Relying on precise sensing technology (high-sensitivity sensors and intelligent recognition algorithms), specific trigger condition settings (specific operation areas), strong environmental adaptability (unaffected by weather, plants, or metal objects under the vehicle chassis), and comprehensive user operation feedback (visual and stepping), the probability of false triggers is effectively reduced.
3. Visible Trigger Projection Pattern
Through optical projection technology, corresponding patterns or icons are projected onto the ground at a certain distance from the tailgate. Thanks to the high directivity of the single-point LiDAR, the radar spot perfectly overlaps with the projection. Users only need to lightly step on the projected pattern to automatically open or close the tailgate. This visualized operation method allows users to clearly see the opening area and operation instructions, making the operation more convenient and intuitive, eliminating the need to grope or guess the sensing area as in traditional methods.
4. Flexible Installation Layout
Flexible installation positions adapt to different vehicle designs, meet personalized user needs, optimize space utilization, and improve installation efficiency and compatibility.

User Value
1. Convenience
When users have their hands full and find it inconvenient to open the tailgate, they can easily open or close the tailgate by stepping on the projected icon on the ground via AR projection, without needing to search for physical buttons, greatly enhancing the convenience of opening and closing the tailgate.
2. Technological Experience
As an advanced automotive technology configuration, the AR projection power tailgate adds a strong sense of technology and fashion to the vehicle, bringing more fun and enjoyment to users who pursue technological trends.
3. Nighttime Usage Advantage
In low-light environments, traditional tailgate opening methods are very inconvenient. The AR projection power tailgate can project clear operation instructions, allowing accurate operation even at night. The projection itself also serves as auxiliary lighting, illuminating the area around the tailgate.

Technical Principle
The entire system mainly consists of three modules: single-point LiDAR, AR projection, and main control board.
- Single-point LiDAR: The system uses single-point LiDAR to detect the user's action of opening/closing the tailgate. The LiDAR performs distance detection based on the user's actions and sends the distance detection data of the entire process to the main control board.
- AR Projection: The system maps indicative patterns through AR projection to guide customers to perform accurate and effective operations.
- Main Control Board: The system controls the AR projection and guides the user to open/close the tailgate through the main control board. During the user's operation, the main control board obtains distance data for the entire behavior process through the single-point LiDAR, and processes and judges through algorithms to achieve stable and correct opening and closing of the tailgate.
